It turned out to be quite easy to embed a wave into Wordpress. For one, there is a plugin called “wp-wave-shortcodes” that adds a little shortcode to the Wordpress Post. You will see a little button that looks like the Wave symbol along the “Upload/Insert” line. So, go to your Plugins tab and search for that plugin then install it.
Once installed you then click on the shortcode icon and insert the WaveID you want to embed. You can get the WaveID by selecting a wave and then selecting Debug->Get Current Wave ID, you will find Debug in the top right hand corner of Wave, click on it and go down to Get Current Wave ID. It will return you something lick this Wave ID: “wavesandbox.com!w+YPlHGxn2%A”. The tricky part here is knowing that the WaveID is everything after the w+ and before the end quotes. That is the Wave ID you post past into the shortcode. I recommend sticking with the default setting for everything else.
That’s it. So long has you have a Wave Account & are logged in, you will see the Wave below and be able to take part in the conversation.
