The replacement/revolution you mention will be a very interesting case. It's proven very hard to change paradigms in the past, so I'm curious how Google will handle this

I think the "spammer" part is one of the most important issues to think about for Google. This can really make or break a service.

If you compare it to Twitter where first there weren't that much spammers, now it is flooded because of the popularity of the service. Being followed by hundreds of bots, receive weird @replies, it all takes the fun out of a service like twitter. The same goes for email, but I have to say Google did quite a good job with their spam filter in Gmail.

I hope they think really good about how to avoid spammers, so they don't need a spam filter, but can address the problem at its root.

I think these are all very important issues to address as well. I would hate to see something as great as wave ruined because it got rushed or a detail was looked over.
Take your time google, it's a great thing, do it right and be successful.

[...] GoogleWaveBlogger has create the article 5 Things Wrong with Google Wave. It gives detailed descriptions the problems with Google Wave. It mentions security, spam, replacement of Google hosted Apps, integration with MS office and Enterprise server installation. [...]

Hi,
Really nice analysis of the problems with wave.
The issues you mentions will probably be adresse along the way. I don't think we will see a large Enterprise implementation at day one but it will come over time.

I think you are bang on ref the Microsoft Office integration. It will be interesting to watch what NetDocuments does. I have read they are working with Google Wave on a collaboration effort. This could be the killer Embed, Robot or Gadget for Google Wave.
