Great points imma! I don't disagree with anything you say.

But, I still find it interesting and will be curious to give it try. One of the big complaints about Google Wave was what it lacked as a social network. So, Squork may offer that portion while Google Wave can do heavy lifting of real collaboration, etc.

"If you find Google Wave interesting, you will certainly by curious to what the folks at Squork are offering with their product"
I'm rather dissapointed that this is not true - there's no talk of federated servers (you can't run an independant or even internal system) so there's no way to keep control of a business's data - it all *has* to go to Squork's servers

They're talking about a business focused social network, when any social network can be business focused (depending how you use it) when what seems to be needed by their customers is an interoperable business-social-network ie one that will talk to clients on whichever social network *they* are choosing to use.

Personally, they talk only of having a system designed for businesses and not about customization, live collaberation, utility add-ins and ease of export - which are the things that most interest *me* about wave.
