My name is David Cook. I am the founder and President of Zeta Squared Consulting Inc. and the author of this wonderful blog you find yourself visiting –   “The Shiny Wave”.

I would like to share some of my credentials that I bring to the table. This is the boring biographical part that is intended to give both authority and professional weight to my blog posts. In the end, you will be the judge on whether anything I say (or write in this case) is worthwhile or not. Regardless, I do feel compelled to share the following:

I have over 25 years experience in Communications and Information Technology. I have over 15 years experience in analyzing, designing, modeling and implementing communications systems and I have over 10 years of experience in Real-time distributed systems and software/hardware system integration.

Moreover, I have over 25 years of experience in communicating Information Technology Strategies to the highest levels of management and government, not to mention (or overlook) technical staffs.

So….impressed yet? How about this then:

I love hockey and my favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. I love football and my favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. My favorite book is “Of Human Bondage” by Somerset Maugham. My favorite TV show is Battlestar Gallactica (can’t believe it is over, still in mourning). My favorite movie is “Dances with Wolves”.

My favorite quote is “My centre is giving way, my right is in retreat; situation excellent. I am attacking. Attaquez!” – General Ferdinand Foch.

That last line is how I believe we should all live our lives – Attaquez!
